Mo Kim joined the Liberty Sports Medicine staff in February 2024. He serves as the Assistant Athletic Trainer for the football program. 

Prior to Liberty, Kim served as the Assistant Athletic Trainer at University of Rhode Island, covering football and rowing. 

Kim earned his bachelor’s degree in exercise science from VCU in 2020. He earned his master’s in athletic training from George Mason University in 2023.  As an athletic training student, Kim spent time with University of Richmond’s football program and Howard University’s basketball program. Additionally, Kim holds a level 1 certification in BFR (blood flow restriction).

Kim was born in South Korea and was raised in Richmond VA. He currently resides in Lynchburg.
