Abbey Marrin serves as the Business Operations Coordinator for Champion Performance and as the Athletic Insurance Coordinator. In her current position, she is responsible for the daily operations for Sports Medicine, Sports Nutrition, and Strength & Conditioning. She also facilitates the secondary insurance process for all of Liberty’s NCAA student-athletes. She serves as a liaison for Liberty’s secondary insurance company, medical providers, and student-athletes. Marrin is responsible for filing claims, resolving claim denials, and communicating with athletic trainers, student-athletes, parents, insurance companies and medical providers.

Marrin previously served at her father’s company in Durham, NC as the Executive Office Manager, and interim CFO. Following the closure of the company at the end of 2020, she transferred to LU to finish her degree after starting school at Wake Technical Community College in Raleigh, NC.  Marrin earned a bachelor’s degree in Family & Consumer Science: Event Planning from Liberty University and plans to start a master’s at LU within the next two years. She currently resides in Lynchburg, VA and spends a few weeks a year serving on the mission field in Eleuthera, Bahamas.
